Who We Are

First established in the community in 1915, Ararat Church of Christ is situated in the beautiful city of Ararat, nestled in the Grampians region.

We seek to be a welcoming church, relevant to all generations. We are blessed to share fellowship with people from a diverse range of countries.

As a church family we desire to serve our city, region and beyond with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We are affiliated with Churches of Christ Vic/Tas, “a movement of the people of God, shaping missional churches, crossing new frontiers, impacting cultures”.

 We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion) each Sunday.

 We have a commitment to believer’s baptism by immersion in water for those who confess their faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour because: 

• Jesus Modeled It
• Jesus Commanded It
• The Early Church Practiced It
• The Bible Teaches It

We support mutual ministry of and to all believers.
