Life Groups (Bible Studies)
What is so special about the Bible? As Christians we understand that the Bible is God-breathed, and as such is fully trustworthy and supremely authoritative. It is the map by which we live our lives. God has not left us to work out life by ourselves. Just as we have the Holy Spirit in us, God has also provided us with the Bible which guides us and gives us clarity about what God is like, how He works in the world, and what will come in the future. God deeply desires a relationship with each one of us and the Bible helps not only to establish how we should live in today’s world but also how to have a deep personal relationship with Him.
Why study the Bible in a Life Group? It is important to spend time in God’s word daily on an individual level. However, small groups give us a place to connect with other believers; to grow together in our understanding of the Bible, just as the early followers of Jesus did; to minister to each other; to help us to become evangelists; and to pray together. Small groups also offer a safe place to ask questions and to discuss the Bible with other believers. As a family of believers, it is wonderful to share in fellowship and worship, and to deepen our understanding of God’s Word together.
