Outreach at Ararat Church of Christ

As our Mission Statement explains, "We exist to serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, by being a caring and mission oriented community...."  We seek to serve our Lord by following his example of love. As a church one way we can share God's love is through spiritual and practical outreach into our community and beyond. 

Emergency Relief

We work together with a number of other churches and agencies in the region to deliver the Emergency Relief (ER) Program. Emergency Relief (ER)  assists people in financial crisis who don't have the money to meet their basic needs. 

Emergency  relief may include:

• vouchers for food and medical prescriptions
• baby formula and nappies
• bus tickets
• Telstra vouchers.

Challenge Good Newspaper

Challenge Literature Fellowship is a non-profit organisation. Challenge – The Good Newspaper is an evangelistic newspaper which aims to encourage and help Christians to share their faith regularly and to give readers the opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ.

“Challenge” is distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Argentina, USA, South Africa and India.  Locally, our Outreach team distributes copies of the newspaper throughout our community every month. For more information visit www.challengenews.org
