Worship at ACOC

We believe that our whole lives should be an act of worship. True worship is always God centred and we come before the Lord with reverence, thanksgiving and joy.

John 4:24 tells us “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Jesus instructs us to   worship in “spirit” – that is alive through new birth (John 1:12,13;3:6,7)  and aglow with Holy Spirit enablement (1Cor.14:15).

Worshipping  “In truth” emphasizes biblical integrity joined to personal honesty, sincerity, and a humble manner of transparency and a relational integrity.

Meaning and being what we say, as well as being spiritually energized in our worship, opens the way to the worship the Father seeks.

How Can We Worship?

Worship can include praying, learning about and reading God's Word, singing, participating in communion, and serving others. Praise and worship belong to God only as He is the only One who deserves all glory, honour and praise. Only He is worthy.
